Vilwanathan. A.C. of DMK won the Ambur Assembly constituency (Vellore district, North) in the Tamil Nadu 2026 election, taking 37.89% of 195,584 votes cast. The winning margin over Imthiyaz Pandarattudu Abdu (TVK) was 7,131 votes, or 3.65 percentage points. DMK held the seat it won here in 2021.
