S.M.Sukumar of ADMK won the Arcot Assembly constituency (Vellore district, North) in the Tamil Nadu 2026 election, taking 46.77% of 225,786 votes cast. The winning margin over G.Vijay Mohan (TVK) was 42,720 votes, or 18.92 percentage points. The seat flipped from DMK to ADMK since 2021.
